Why are you going to be different?

I learned a long time ago that Success Leaves Clues.  What that means is if you want to be successful, find someone successful, do what they do, and you will have what they have. 

 

Over the past 13 years observing and helping people lose weight, get fit, and live a healthy lifestyle, there are a few things that the people who are successful all have in common.  But it all originates from one thing.

 

They all have a strong and compelling reason to achieve their goals.  They don't simply just wish or want to be healthy or lose weight.  We all 'want' something, but 'want' is such a weak reason.  We don't usually get what we want but we get what we MUST have.

 

They all have made living a healthy lifestyle a MUST.  It wasn't something they thought they should do, or wish they could do, but it was something they MUST DO.

 

Now, everyone has different reasons WHY it is a MUST, but there was no question whether they were going to do it or not.  I

 

That is something only you can come up with.  You need to come up with the reasons why you want live a healthy lifestyle. 

 

Reasons why you are going to choose oatmeal in the morning versus donuts. 
Reasons why you are going to skip desert when you are full. 

Reasons why you are going to go to the gym even when you don't feel like it.

Reasons why you are going to not drink so much on the weekend when everybody else is.

Reasons why you are going to be different.

 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but until you come up with a strong burning desire to reach your goals, the chances of success are slim.  The slightest obstacle or thing that gets in your way will keep you from ever achieving them.

 

But the Great News is... You Can Do It!  You can achieve your goals.  You can live a life that everybody else dreams of.  You can accomplish anything you want in life.  You just need to make it a MUST and not accept anything else.
