Strawberry Banana Smoothie πŸ˜‹

Smoothies are a great way to eat, drink and still shrink! Just replacing one meal (or adding a smoothie as a snack) to your day will help you boost your health, and shrink your waistline, for life.

This is one of my favorite snack smoothies I make for me and the kids. The frozen strawberries and banana hide the spinach and green powder so well they don't even know it's good for them! *wink*

I like my smoothies creamy like ice cream so I use frozen bananas and berries. It's such a treat on HOT days when we are craving a cold snack. Adding a green powder (pictured here: Amazing Grass Super Food) and a scoop of protein powder (pictured: Optimum Nutrition Natural Vanilla Protein Powder) are good ways to increase the super green protein punch of your smoothie!

Just throw all the ingredients in a blender or a Nutribullet, my personal favorite. Add just enough water to make it blend and VoilΓ  ... Strawberry Banana Smoothie (with a punch!)

The kids really like this blend, and I like knowing they are getting a lot of nutrients they might not be getting throughout the day.
