Last week I spoke about how to keep things simple.
It comes down to eating healthy which equates to looking at the ingredient list and if you don't know what something is, don't eat it.
Then workout on a regular basis at least 3 days per week doing half cardio and half strength training.
This week lets talk about how to have a good workout. The defining thing that will determine if you will have a good workout or not is to HAVE A PLAN.
When you walk through the gym doors know what you are going to do or at bare minimum spend the first 2-3 minutes writing down what you are going to do before you do it.
You will stay more focused, get better results, and you will have accomplished something you set out to do.
Lucky for you, if you have no idea what to do, we offer the daily challenge which is inside the gym. One of our trainers post new workouts with descriptions on how to do them every week. And we encourage you to come up and ask us if you don't know what something is.
You can also do one of our group classes like Zumba, HT Lift, or Boot Camp. And if you want a very customized program unique to your goals and body you can let one of our personal trainer's help you.
You can even go online and find workout programs that interest you. There are hundreds of sites that show you different workout routines.
The point is, you are going to have a waaay better workout if you plan it out versus just winging it.
